Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari Club has a long history dating back to 1959. Originally the retreat of its founder and movie star, William Holden, the club has over the years earned a reputation for first class hospitality. Its former members include big names such as Sir Winston Churchill, Prince Berhard of the Netherlands, and former US President Lyndon Johnson.
The club's excellent location offers easy access to some of Kenya's major tourist attractions such as the majestic Mount Kenya, Ol Pejeta, Solio and Lewa Wildlife Conservancies, and the Aberdare Mountains. You can also choose to relax at the club and enjoy several recreational activities such as a visit to the animal orphanage, horseback riding, golf, table tennis, swimming etc.

Policies and Other Information
75% of overnight rate applies till 18:00 and this policy is subject to room availability. The full overnight rate will apply after 18:00.
Children policy:
Children 18 years old and under may stay at no extra charge in their parents’ room (excluding meals) in room categories accommodating more than 2 persons. Where two rooms are required to accommodate a family, a 75% charge of the double room rate is applicable. Complimentary meals and gratuities will be offered to children 5 years old and under.

i. Accommodation cancelled or reduced in number between 45-30 days before arrival, 15% of the total booking cost will be charged.
ii. Accommodation cancelled or reduced in number between 29-20 days before arrival, 25% of the total booking cost will be charged.
iii. Accommodation cancelled or reduced in number between 19-15 days before arrival, 50% of the total booking cost will be charged.
iv. In case of cancellation less than 14 days from noon on the date of accommodation, or in case of No-show – 100% of the total cost.
